Many of us within the axe-throwing community feel we can step up and help our fellow competitors in any way we can. We recently learned that Wesley Powell, a fellow axe-throwing competitor, has been hit with some dire medical issues. These issues have Wes facing a long road with treatments and recovery that often come with this news.

We will not be going into all the details of what he may face emotionally, financially, and physically, but it will be a long journey. The money we raise here will go directly to Wes and his family to help pay for the medical expenses and monthly bills. This will hopefully help ease the stress financially, which will help Wes focus on his recovery.

I am sure that I speak for everyone that knows Wes when I say that we all wish him the best of luck and that our thoughts and prayers are with him.
