This is the Weikle Family. Last Sunday, the mother, Karen, passed away unexpectedly. This photo is of Karen, her husband Wes, and 8 of their children from a few weeks ago when the final adoption came through for the latest addition to the family.  There are 13 kids total with six still living at home. Nine of these children were adopted out of foster care.  In the past 23 years, Karen and Wes fostered more than 30 children.  Karen believed that her job as a foster mother was to teach kids what love is supposed to look like and feel like.

Says her daughter, "She loved her kids and was always concerned about us and always wanted the absolute best for us. She was our family rock and always knew just what to say or do in difficult situations. She was always worried that she wasn't a good mom to us kids, but she did an outstanding job."  Karen also volunteered at the church nursery for years and the children there all loved her.   Now, Karen has passed on leaving Wes and the children alone. Please give what you can to help the family. If you can't give, please send this fundraising plea along to others who may be able to help.  Please pray for this family in their time of direst need. Funds will be used for housing bills, daily needs (like groceries, utilities), and medical bills.
