Half Marathon to help Walton Centre, Brain Injury Rehab Unit
Donation protected
In June 2024, my dad suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm whilst on holiday in Portugal.
For the first few weeks, he was fighting for his life - and after a month - he thankfully got to a better point where he could return to the UK.
Once returned, he was admitted to the Walton Centre and then to Sid Watkins Brain Injury Rehab Unit for 4 months.
I am running the Liverpool half marathon and want to dedicate the race to the amazing staff - Dr Mehta and his team - who helped my dad in the brain injury rehab unit.
Whilst he still has a long way to go, my family and I are forever grateful for all their help and support.
I am hoping the money raised can be used for other patients, facing similar issues to my dad, so they can continue to help with their recovery’s
Any contribution would be much appreciated, thanks!
