The Walker Family and Lexi Lee
Hi my name is Jennifer. I am so honored to be helping this beautiful family during this difficult time. No parent should ever have to experience the loss of their precious baby girl. Please join me in helping share, and if you have it in your heart donate I know the Walker family would greatly appreciate it.
Lexi Lee Walker went home to be with Jesus at the precious age of 3 years old. In 2018, Lexi was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer that also caused her to become completely blind. She and her family embarked upon a journey of battling cancer that would last 3 consecutive years and included an intense treatment plan of countless hospital stays, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, two stem cell transplants, clinical trials and experimental treatments. She fought brilliantly and never let her lack of vision or any cancer treatments ever hold her back from learning, growing, and enjoying her life to the fullest. She inspired and impacted the lives of everyone who met her in the way she exuded joy, strength, humor and resilience on a daily basis. You can get to know Lexi better through her story on FB: Lexi Lee Beats NB. She will be greatly missed by all, and most significantly by her big sister, Sadie (6 years old), and her mom and dad, Christy and Adam.
Funds raised will be used to help the family with covering funeral expenses and outstanding medical bills. Any funds that are raised beyond those needs will be donated directly to childhood cancer research programs at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
