The Voice from the Silence (Graduation Film)

I am co-producing a graduation film to be shot in 2025. Our film, The Voice from the Silence, is expected to be around 8-10 minutes in duration and with the right support can definitely be good enough for a festival run. Some key points to know about the film creatively are:
- Black & White
- Silent film initially, then gains sound alongside the story progressing
- Inspired heavily by films from the early 1900s like, but not limited to: Dracula (1931), Nosferatu (1922) and Frankenstein (1931)
- Key themes: Freedom of Speech, Feminism & Overcoming Oppression
Our Logline is - After enduring years of abuse from an evil scientist, a mistreated servant discovers a misunderstood monster being hidden in the
castle's dungeon. After learning about the monster's extraordinary power, the servant must find her voice and use it to rebel and find her freedom.
Any funds given to us will be used for cast, production design, any extra crew we don't have (composer/vfx) and potentially for applying to film festivals.
