The Victor Family needs your help!

Just when they thought that life could not get more difficult for them, the Victors learned that it would...

In the past few months, they have faced so many trials and challenges but they continue to persevere.

For starters:

Bernie's health took another difficult turn. She learned that her tumor had spread into her bladder. She had to go through yet another surgery a few weeks ago to remove a baseball size tumor (not an exaggeration) in her bladder. The surgery wasn't a cure but designed to give her some relief.

Bernadette also just started another type of chemo treatment in the past week. It is her third type of treatment and it is a very aggressive one. So aggressive, in fact, that they had to check her heart in order to get a baseline. This treatment could have an affect on her heart.

Thankfully, she qualified and was approved to have this special treatment. Bernie said it best: "No matter how scary it may sound, I have to give it a try! I'm still fighting with all my might! That hasn't changed!".

But then...

Another huge problem unexpectedly came out of nowhere. Ron went in for a MRI and found out that there was damage to his spinal cord and he had compressed nerves. As a result, his mobility has sytematically decreased. It first started on his right side of the leg and arm, then, in a matter of a week, his left side began to feel weaker as well. He had no other alternative but to have emergency surgery on his back.

The surgery was performed on June 21. Without it, he may have ended up with total paralysis or other complications, possibly even death. It was a very risky and complicated procedure and many things could have gone wrong.

The family is so very thankful to God, though, that Ron's surgery went well. Ron pulled through and it put him in a much better situation. That being said, he has a very long road to recovery. He may not recover full mobility and was told that his "best" chance will be to walk with a cane. The surgeon did not sugar coat anything and was seriously very upset about Ron's predicament.

Bernie wrote: "I still don't understand why this is happening to him. But somehow, God has plans for him. My focus for now is to help Ron as best as I can."

When it rains, it pours! In the Victor family's case, this has been a major storm!

So here's where I/we are asking you for your help. Given the circumstances, the Victor family is unable to work or bring in any income. These are difficult times and the Victors could really use your love and support! We are asking everyone for donations large or small. Whatever monetary contribution that anyone can provide, is tremendously and humbly appreciated from the bottom of their hearts.

Please donate now to support the Victor family and help them survive these trying times!

THANK YOU!
