Hi, my name is Michael, and this is Velcro — a 4-month-old Jack Russell Terrier who, quite literally, latched onto me in the most unexpected way.

Velcro was said to have been found in Berkeley, and one day she was dropped off at my sailboat. From the very first moment, she stuck to me like her name — and in that instant, I knew we belonged together.

Living aboard a sailboat, I wasn’t expecting to take in a puppy, but Velcro had other plans. She’s full of energy, love, and spirit — the perfect little shipmate. Now, I want to make sure she gets the best start in life.

That’s why I’m reaching out for support. I’m raising funds to cover:

Puppy training classes, so Velcro can grow up confident, social, and well-behaved.
