My Best Friends Stephanie and Mo have been on a motherhood journey for several years and if you know them, you know that their journey has been a rocky, rough road. After years of heartache they were blessed with their 1st born son, Brigzton in 2023 and now they are expecting their 2nd and final miracle baby boy. On May 24th Stephanie who was 30 weeks pregnant, went to her routine OB appointment and they discovered she was swelling in her extremities and her blood pressure was at a severe level. She was sent to labor and delivery where she was admitted and required to stay until she delivers, which could be several more weeks. Stephanie is suffering from 3 diseases that are a result of this pregnancy. Preeclampsia, Chronic hypertension, and severe fetal growth restriction. Their unborn baby is also in the 1st percentile, meaning he is not growing and will require several weeks of recovery in the NICU. This has put a major strain on their family emotionally and financially. Stephanie is the best mother I know, she always puts the kids before herself. She was created to be a mommy it is literally her purpose in life. Everything else comes secondary to her wife and children. The love she has for her children is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen. The Vandygriff’s were not expecting this extra time in the hospital, I put this fundraiser together to help relieve some of the added financial stress this unexpected hospital stay has caused. If you have the ability to help financially that’s great, if not that’s okay as well. I am asking for prayers for The Vandygriffs, their unborn baby and entire family.
