Cassandra's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
Cassandra was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma in November of 2021. It is a rare, and challenging cancer. Since diagnosis, many treatments were attempted. These treatments included radiation, chemo therapy (several different types) and other medications. None seemed to work. Because of this, Cassandra qualified for a clinical trial through The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. This was a t-cell replacement therapy, which trained her body to fight her cancer. Until recently, this treatment was working. Her tumor is now growing again, and surgery is her next step. This will take place in Ann Arbor, next month (3/25).
This fundraiser is helping Cassandra and her family of 5, through this difficult time. Any donations are appreciated. We also appreciate prayers. They are just as important.
