Please support the Vallarino Family as Amy continues her brave fight against HER2 Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer. They are so grateful for all the support they have had thus far.

My name is Kristin Chu and after working with Amy's husband, Michael over the past several years, I have become friends with Amy and her family.

Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 37, while pregnant with their daughter Maggie in 2010. She delayed much of the cancer treatment until Maggie's birth to give the baby as much time to develop as possible. Miraculously, Maggie was born at 32 weeks in May of 2011, and is now a healthy and happy five year old. Amy and Michael also have a seven-year-old son MJ. Amy's strength, faith, courage and will to fight, along with the love and support of her family and friends, has given her more time with these sweet children than anyone imagined possible.

As a result of her metastatic breast cancer, Amy has multiple tumors, including many in her brain. She just came home after a one week hospital stay following a procedure to alleviate some of the problems caused by a new large tumor on her pancreas. They are still awaiting further results and a consultation to determine the next steps in her brave battle.

Amy has been unable to work since her diagnosis and her husband Michael has been working multiple jobs to provide the benefits and income needed to support their family and Amy's medical care. Due to the recent developments, Michael has been unable to work and a date for his return to work is uncertain at this point. Therefore, any amount that anyone can donate to support them at this time is so needed and appreciated. These funds will be used for the family's daily living and medical expenses. This will allow their family to focus on their health and time together.

The Vallarinos are so grateful for all of the support, prayers and donations.  You might also support the Vallarinos by sharing this page. Thank you for considering supporting them!
