The Bright Skatepark Upgrade is a project that has the opportunity to unite us as a community and demonstrate how together we can make things happen.
I’d like to encourage you to get on board and be part of the transformation of what was just an idea and now is our project; upgrade the Bright Skatepark to something we as a community can be proud of and to be enjoyed by our locals, our visitors and be a community heartbeat that skateparks the world over prove to be.
Firstly, we must obtain the necessary funding to achieve full final concept design and planning for the upgrade. This will in turn assist in the commencement and achievement of the second stage.
The second and final stage is to convert the current Alpine Shire intent to a fully funded upgrade project with a clearly nominated completion date.
We must achieve $20,000 for stage one and we want to do this by September 1, 2022.
To kick things off, our friends from Bright Laundry as part of their “Community Circle” initiative will match dollar-for-dollar local resident contribution up to $5,000, therefore with immediate local support of say just $100 from 50 families we will have achieved 50% of our funding target already !
Local businesses, we encourage you to jump on board and know that your contribution will be hugely welcomed and gladly promoted.
