Help my mom beat breast cancer and kidney failure!

Hello my name is Sam, and my mother is a remarkable woman named Shannan. She is a nurturing mother, daughter, and friend. She is an inspirational woman, who has been delt an awful hand in her short 46 years of life. She has always lived life to the fullest, cherishing every moment with her loved ones. My mom has always been a hard working woman who has always done everything in her power to provide and take care of me growing up. I never went without, but she did. My mother has always held strong, even in her worst of times just to make sure I had what I needed. Having already been through dialysis and a kidney transplant by the young age of 36, I want to do what I can to help give something back to her. Recently during labs due to her ongoing kidney failure (her kidneys are once again failing), a lump was discovered. After a biopsy and some tests my mother has now been diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. The months to come will be filled with appointments, medical tests, and consultations. My mom and our family are heavy with worry, but I know my mom will remain strong just as she did through years of dialysis. Due to the chemotherapy my mothers kidneys will without a doubt fail and she has no choice but to be put back on dialysis once again along side going through chemotherapy. The doctors say she cannot receive my kidney donation until she has beat the cancer and stopped chemo. As we all know medical expenses add up fast. My mothers insurance only covers so much. We’re fighting one fight at a time and anything will help to make sure my mom makes it through all of these obstacles. Please help us help my loving mother through these hard times to come. Anything and everything is appreciated. With the deepest love from our family, thank you. #StandwithShan #CancerSucks #DialysisRepeat #TwoforTwo #BreastCancer #KidneyFailure
Note: Remember, each individual's journey is unique, and it's crucial to approach the topic of breast cancer with empathy and understanding. If you or someone you know is affected by breast cancer, please consult medical professionals for accurate information, guidance, and support.
