The unseen thread

There are threads you cannot see.
But you can feel them.
Between people.
Between places.
Between past and possibility.

My name is Aleyna Seniha Tekin, and I am one of those threads.
Tugged by history, moved by memory, drawn by vision.

This is not about me.
It’s about us.
All of us who create, against the odds, in the margins, for the future.
And it starts with one step: education.
At Artemis Academy, where I’ve been accepted.

Creating Across Worlds
As a queer, Turkish-Dutch multidisciplinary artist, I navigate many worlds, culture, gender, language, faith, and silence. These intersections aren’t always soft, and at times, I’ve felt torn between them. But through my work, whether it's drawing, painting, (digital) fashion, styling, personal shopping, photography, illustration, tattooing, or custom creations for individuals and companies, I’ve found a space to exist fully.

I don’t just create for myself; I create for others, offering my art as a way to connect, uplift, and inspire. To me, art is not only self-expression, but a gift for the world, like the fragrance of a flower meant to be shared and experienced by all.

The unseen
In my work, I merge the unseen with the visible.
I translate identity, feeling, and history into design for myself and for others. But now, I want to go deeper. I want to build a brand and community that doesn't just look beautiful, but means something. That offers representation, reflection, and rebellion.

Why Artemis
Artemis is the school that truly felt like space.
A small, concept-driven academy where trend forecasting meets storytelling, where authenticity matters. Only 80 students are accepted each year and I’m one of them.

The program teaches how to develop creative concepts rooted in reality: in people, shifts, subcultures, and new narratives. It’s hands-on, collaborative, and personal, exactly how I learn best.

More than an artist
I don’t just want to become an artist.
I want to become a platform.
A builder of bridges.
A storyteller of the in-between.

In the last year, I’ve felt how strong the need is for connection among migrant creatives. We carry stories no one sees. Emotions we rarely speak. But through community and creative expression, we can shift culture.

Taking space, making space
This isn’t about being "included", it’s about taking up space and creating new ones.

We need spaces where our languages, textures, fabrics, rituals, fears, and fire are seen, not as exotic, but as essential.

The garden we tend together
The total cost of the 4-year Bachelor at Artemis is €40.000
Each year: €9.200

It’s a garden I can’t tend alone and I don’t wish to,
For the bloom I seek requires more than soil, it needs the light of shared hands. Because the journey is collective.

Why your support matters
By supporting me, you're not just helping one artist.
You're backing a vision rooted in shared visibility, collective healing, and future-making.

What You’re Supporting:
• A queer Turkish-Dutch artist building bridges through fashion, art & storytelling
• A future creative director/community builder amplifying unheard voices
• The belief that art = self-expression, fashion = language, education = investment.

Let’s pull the thread forward
Let this red thread connect us.
You, me, and all those whose voices are not yet heard.

something new.
