Help Colleen and Her Daughters Rebuild Their Lives

For the past four years, Colleen and her Daughter have been dedicated volunteers with Paw 4 The Foundation. She has spent countless hours caring for rescued horses, showing up whenever she was needed, and giving her heart to animals that had nowhere else to turn. In the blazing heat, in the pouring rain and the frigid snow She has always shown up!Now, it is our turn to show up for her.

Recently, Colleen and her daughters have experienced a tragedy no family should ever have to endure. After years of silence, her daughter bravely disclosed that she had been sexually abused by Colleen’s husband. The memories resurfaced after being triggered, and she found the courage to tell the truth. Following the disclosure, her husband was arrested, and their family’s life changed forever.

Since then, Colleen has been left to navigate the overwhelming emotional and financial impact on her own. The family lost their insurance, household bills continue to grow, and resources have become incredibly limited. Both of her daughters are now in counseling as they begin the difficult journey of healing, while Colleen works tirelessly to provide them with the stability, love, and support they deserve.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping the family with essential living expenses, including rent, utilities, groceries, and other basic necessities while they rebuild their lives. Most importantly, these donations will help ensure her daughters can continue receiving the counseling and support they need.

Asking for help is never easy, especially during such a painful chapter. Colleen has always been someone who gives to others without hesitation. Today, she needs our community to rally around her and her girls.
