YOU DID IT! David's parking spot is empty tonight because HE HAS A PLACE TO CALL HOME! He spent his first night in his little place last night and while he didn't have a bed, he took all the blankets from his vehicle and made himself a bed on the floor.

Hard to imagine what it was like for him to wake up and not have to turn on his car to get some heat going. To have his own bathroom! All the things we take for granted. He said he was overwhelmed and couldn't believe the place was his!

I heard from two friends today who wanted to give but discovered we had paused it when we changed the focus to getting a place for him. We are reopening it NOT for those who have already helped him but for those who want to contribute to get his place set up with some second hand furniture. With your gifts, we covered his first and last months rent and will allocate funds for furniture and any left over will be given to help cover expenses.

He has an old school flip phone and we'd like to get him set up with a computer if anyone has an old one in their home or for that matter, an old phone that you are not using.
