THE UNGER FAMILY ACTS2
Donation protected
There’s a time to cut to the chase so let me start there and then give some context. This Go Fund Me page was created by dotLife board members Bill Jefferis, Leroy Case, and Biz Zeller after they became aware of an opportunity to be the Body of Christ (as described in Acts 2:44-45) to the Unger family by inviting you to help meet a practical and immediate financial need they have. While help was never sought by the Unger’s, it became glaringly obvious to us that financial assistance was necessary to meet some real needs they have with significant repercussions if not addressed. To honor the privacy of the Unger family, we will not be sharing those specific needs here.
Would you prayerfully consider sowing into their family to the extent that God might ask you?
Now to make this personal…
A catalyst is a change agent that disappears after having its intended effect. While a word often overused and misused, Corey and Alicia exemplify its meaning. If you took a moment to consider how your life has been influenced in a specific way by them, it probably would not take you much time. For the three of us, our lives are forever changed by how God has imparted His goodness to us through them. What they generously, sacrificially, and joyfully pour out into the lives of countless people has effects beyond what any tool of measurement can assess. What we have witnessed time and time again is that they faithfully obey what God asks them to do regardless of the cost to them personally and that obedience sets things into motion that have deep, systemic impact. This kingdom work often takes place behind the scenes and could easily go unnoticed. Yet Corey and Alicia like it this way because they know it’s not about them. Catalysts are meant to disappear.
It’s a blessing to help anyone in need but we count it a joy and honor to make this request of you on behalf of two people who have labored wholeheartedly unto the Lord and for the sake of His Bride, the Church. Thank you for delighting with us to love on the Unger family in this way!
