The unexpected passing of Christopher Okonkwo
Donation protected
Christopher Okonkwo, aka “Mighty or Mightynogidi” was an honorable father to his children, a beloved husband to his wife, a close brother to his siblings, and a cherished friend to many.
On October 10th 2020, Christopher Okonkwo was found unconscious by his children on the floor of his living room. He experienced an intense seizure and was unresponsive to the cries of his children. After being transported to the hospital, his family was informed that Christopher had suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke, which caused a severe bleed into his brain. The bleeding was so severe that it compressed his brain, triggered a seizure, and left him brain dead. October 10th turned out to be a tragic and painful day for the Okonkwo family.
This news came as a painful shock to those who knew him. One day he is perfectly fine, talking and laughing, and the next day he is gone. Christopher touched the lives of many before his passing. He always sought ways to ensure that his family and friends were happy, comfortable, and at peace. His delightful presence and joyful spirit will deeply be missed.
During this time of mourning, we are humbly asking for your help to lay Christopher to rest. Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated. Your donations will be directed towards the memorial and funeral costs to lay him to rest. We sincerely thank you in advance, and we are immensely grateful for your support.
Christopher is survived by his dear wife Obiamaka Okonkwo, and his three beloved children: Diego Okonkwo, Chynenye Okonkwo, and Rex Okonkwo.
