Hi, my neighbor Jermaine is unfortunately facing the tragic and unexpected loss of his sister Benita Cannon who was tragically killed in a hit and run while walking near 26 Mile and Gratiot. He and Benita were very close and lived together and this has been a tragic experience. He has been unable to mourn the loss of his sister due to the financial burden of her having no life insurance. I offered to set this fundraiser up so that we as a community could come together and lessen the burden for a lifelong resident so that he is able to grieve and heal.
