A film director creates a surreal, neo-noir tv series featuring a bumbling detective, casts his wife and kids in it, and tries to juggle his two worlds.

Writer/Director has made numerous shorts and feature films over the past three decades, which have premiered at SIFF and festivals around the world. He has been honored with film retrospectives at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles, the Portland Art Museum, and the Pioneer Theater in Manhattan, and has produced a number of films, including Lynn Shelton's first feature We Go Way Back and Guy Maddin's Brand Upon the Brain!, which is now in the Criterion Collection. He first began work on his narrative series The Uncertain Detective in 2019.
