Let me start with this - Tobi is fine and healthy! I know often when you see a GoFund Me for a pet it's something bad. So what is this all about? Let me explain.

I want to be as transparent with everyone as possible. I don't expect anything from anyone but greatly appreciate anyone willing to make this happen. I always told myself the only thing I could ever see myself making a GoFund Me for would be Tobi. Of course, when I imagined this it was usually with some serious vet bill I wasn't prepared for, but here I am asking for donations to take Tobi on a trip across the country. What's the deal with that? What right do I have to ask people to fund a fun trip across the states? Well honestly, I have no right.

But as I've sat here looking at my options to be able to do something truly special with Tobi while I still have the opportunity to do it I've realized this might be the only way. It's something I'm willing to suck up my pride for and maybe face a few internet comments. Mostly because I believe Tobi deserves it.

He is now 12 years old but still acts very youthful I want to be able to give him wonderful golden years while he is still physically able to do it. Which is why I want to act now on this trip. Anyone who knows me shouldn't have to question what Tobi means to me. Yes we've been doing small travels locally in California and it's been great but just once while I still have the chance I want to take him out of the state and let him experience more of what's out there!

So where are we going? The goal is to take tobi all the way to the east coast! Stopping in places like Utah, Colorado, Missouri, Tennesse, Florida and make our way back through historic 66. Of course I'll have a more solid plan when it gets closer to being a reality. I'd like to take him to many places as possible.

Why the $1000 Jason? Well, while I do work from home, I still rely a lot on Doordashing for income. Something that won't be easy to do on a cross country trip. This will ensure I don't lose my income for the week because this is the exact thing that's holding me back in the first place as well as travel, supplies and food!

I understand something like this won't speak to everyone and again I expect nothing. I also don't expect something for nothing and that's why I do intend to offer what I can to anyone who helps with this!
