The two clefts - Bee and Rosie

Meet Bee and Rosie, our two saved at birth clefts, who have quite a following!

We have given these two girls a fighting chance and they are surviving and thriving, they are now almost 10 weeks old. Today we have seen a vet in Solihull regarding surgery to help fix their clefts, to give them their best chance! They will be having this operation next Friday following discussions the sooner the better for them and recovery time to give them a completely normal life. There is a risk it might not work first try but this will give them their best shot.

The operation is very intense and expensive, which I am more than happy to cover, but for two is not cheap and I hope and wonder if people are willing help contribute towards the surgery after seeing their stories and to all those people that I have helped over the years. These puppies rarely get the chance to survive! My time involved to raise them to this point is unbelievable, but I would do it again without hesitation and if any one asked me to help I would at the drop of a hat.

These puppies have come from fully health tested parents, they have been raised with total love and devotion, they certainly pulled at my heart strings, I am so attached to them. I just cannot afford to pay for both surgeries they will require to give them their best possible life.

I have hand fed them around the clock every 2 hours for the first four weeks, our vets said they wouldn’t survive but here we are! I was very lucky that Anna still cared for them the rest of the time and they were raised with the rest of the litter.

These funds will only be used for these two pups veterinary care and anything they need during their recovery. My time will be donated, if they find a home it will be used for the new owners to pay for their care should they need further but we are hopeful that once recovered from the surgery (4-6 weeks) they will lead a very normal life!

If there are any excess funds this will be given to a chosen cleft charity who inspired me to keep them going and kept me sane in the middle of the night!
