We are The Twisted Lemon and more importantly, we’re a family. We are the Jenkins and if you’ve known any of us for any length of time, odds are that you've been greeted warmly, treated respectfully, and even welcomed in as one of us. On top of that, there’s a very good chance that you’ve been fed, and fed well, both in body and spirit. We love nothing more than to share our talents with everyone. And for most of us, those talents lean heavily toward exceptional food and drink.
We have been working in the food and beverage industry cumulatively for over a century and wouldn’t have it any other way. As you can see from our video, we take great pride in what we do. Whether it be baked goods and sweets, mouthwatering entrees, or refreshing beverages; each goodie we create has that secret ingredient that sets what we do apart from the rest. That secret, my friends, is love.
Our family business, The Twisted Lemon, started over 20 years ago serving festivals, concerts, and fairs. And business has been good. Unfortunately, due to the 2020 shutdowns, we have lost close to 90% of our annual business. And although that loss has and continues to be a huge struggle, we will not give up! We have come together, pooled our resources and managed to create a small drive thru business in Ephraim, Utah using our mobile kiosk and EZ-UP tents. We have turned our event driven, mobile business into what is quickly becoming a favorite spot amongst locals.
The Twisted Lemon is everything to us. Our small business has helped support over 30 family members and close friends over the years. Even though there were very few events and festivals this year, our efforts have allowed us to continue supporting our family and loved ones. We are fighting through this difficult time but once the snow falls it will be impossible for us to stay in business using EZ-UP tents.
With the food industry evolving to fit the needs of 2020, our beloved Twisted Lemon must evolve as well. We have decided to take the leap and move from what was previously a fresh squeezed beverage endeavor, to something with a little more meat on its bones. Literally. We are adding some incredible food to our already amazing drinks. A few of our family members, who are professional Chefs, have joined forces with us to help us make that move. We are pushing through and turning our sights on a brand-new mobile kitchen; a 24’ fully loaded concession trailer that will allow us to create and serve some of the best food around! And the most exciting part is we have almost reached our goal!!
