The Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary
Donation protected
« Our sanctuary is a quiet place today with no fridges, freezers, a silent workshop, no lights, no water pumps, no heating in our very full hospital. We've been battling daily power outages of up to 16 hours a day, power surges, single phasing, transformers burning, and a multitude of other ZESA faults for the last few weeks, the last of our old generators died this morning, and we can't charge our solar batteries to keep everything running 24/7. We've been running around since 3am trying to make a plan and we just can't solve this one. We desperately need to purchase a new generator to keep our sanctuary running and get water to our animals, run our hospital and keep our refrigerators full of animal food on, especially as the power situation is not expected to improve.»
This is a message from Sarah the Founder of The Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary. The situation is hard everywhere at the moment but it’s even worse in Zimbabwe specially when you have hundred of animals, some sick, injured or old, in your care.
Please help us fund a new generator to make their life a little bit easier.
Thank you so much in advance for your donation. Every contribution will help!
