My name is Samantha and I am creating this in hopes to help my little family, I am 28 years old mom of two little girls one being my at the time 5yr old baby sister that i took custody of in 2021 after our mom passed away unexpectedly and in 2022 i gave birth to my baby girl at 27wks due to short cervix and now this year we are faced with more heartache and hardships. This year I found out I was pregnant with twins at 20wks I went into preterm labor due to a kidney infection, I started out at my local hospital not knowing yet that I was in labor the hospital had no NICU so we made a decision to go 2hrs out to get to the best place possible for my babies, my water broke shortly after we got to the hospital. They of course wanted me to go forward with giving birth to the twins i declined as I wanted to try to keep them in as long as I could to give them a better chance at survival two days later when i used the bathroom I felt one of the babies in my cervix.....The hospital recommended that i take meds to make the process faster at first i agreed but with baby already in my cervix we decided that i could push without the meds my baby boy was delivered on September 20th at 1:20pm he lived for a total of 10mins on his own, I did some research about what I am going threw and I've seen similar stories about the twin being able to stay in and making it to viability. The doctors don't recommend I continue the pregnancy due to my infection but I am choosing to continue as long as its not life threatening for me to give baby girl every chance that I can, with everything going on there is of course risks that come with it for me and baby. Her survival rate at 22wks is 30% witch is what I am trying to get to for her, the chances are low but i have hope. Our family is seeking any help we can get my husband has been out of work to be my support he will be returning to work but we have fell behind on some bills, things have happened so fast we have lost control of things and can't handle this on our own. We would also like to have little Jasper cremated and we currently have no funds to do so......please if you could share our story anything helps my husband is the soul provider and will now be doing mine and his role until i get out of the hospital witch at this time is still uncertain.
