The Tudor Wall: the final push

Donation protected
Following the partial demolition of the Tudor Wall in 2008, we have conducted campaigns of rebuilding from 2014 onwards. This has rebuilt 23m of the 50m Tudor Wall. Now, the final push is to rebuild the remaining 23 yards of the wall, along with associated works to include new wrought iron railings along the restored Great High Walk, paving and new neighbouring boundary walls.

The estimated cost of this work is £200000 and we are trying to raise £50000 of this through crowdfunding. Your donation will show the popular support for completing this colossal project. It is hoped that this will attract match funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund, a condition of which is that we demonstrate that there is widespread public support for this project.

Whether you’re a good brick, or tough as flint, or soft as sand, biting as lime, strong as iron, malleable as mortar, whatever you are we ask you to contribute to this colossally worthwhile project which will help complete the only Renaissance Water Garden in an urban setting in all of the UK, a testament to the vision of the builders of Restoration House and its current restorers.
