The Tru Back To School Event

Every year Tru Cutz Barbershop has hosted an event called The Tru Back To School Event. We started this event since we opened our doors back in 2016 and this year will be our 5th year hosting the event!
What started as a small 1 day event has since evolved into a 3 day massive event every year helping hundreds of kids in our community! During this event we give kids from pre-k through the 12th grade free haircuts & backpacks full of school supplies. We wanted to give back to our community to ensure any kid could start their school year looking and feeling their best!
This year The Tru Back to School Event is set to take place the 5th 6th and 7th of September!
In the beginning Tru Cutz Barbershop covered the expense for the entire event alone, but as the event has grown so has the expenses and the community’s desire to get involved in the event.
Thus we created this go fund me :)
We would appreciate and encourage donations and support! When you donate to this go fund me every penny will go to the purchases of backpacks and school supplies for the event, which goes directly to the kids in our community!
