Friends—I’m inviting you to help me show the Trofymenko family what it means that the USA is truly a land of opportunity and generosity.
They left EVERYTHING behind in Ukraine this fall fleeing the war. Their home, their extended family members, their cars, their life savings, the construction business Tymur had built from the ground up and Anna’s successful German Boxer dog breeding business. All of it GONE with the life saving decision to seek safety in the United States. Their oldest daughter, Anastasiia, was already here because she was a senior at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy when the war broke out last year and she could not return home. I have had the blessing of getting to know this courageous family.
They arrived this fall and are working hard to get established here but without jobs, cars, or much English, the past few months have been a discouraging struggle to just survive. Let’s surround them with HOPE and RESOURCES to build their new life here so that healing can begin. Let’s show them the BEST WELCOME to our city.
Funds raised will cover their rent and living expenses while they are finding employment and securing a more permanent living arrangement.
