The Tree of Life, In Memory of Heidi Larscheid
On Friday, July 2, 2021, heaven gained the most beautiful angel. Heidi fought for 3 years, 9 months and 12 days. The last 6 months were very hard for her and her family, but she never backed down or gave up...her armor always remained intact. She is the epitome of strength, will and determination. So, when you need a push, when you feel overwhelmed, when you feel like you "just can't"...remember her. Remember her smile during the most difficult times, remember her voice, and words of encouragement. She was everyone's cheerleader. She loved to make people smile and always seemed to know the perfect things to say.
John, Quinn and Bailey want to personally thank everyone for their unending support, kind words, letters and texts. Heidi’s family, in lieu of flowers and gifts, have asked to please donate towards a "Tree of Life". During a bad Florida storm one of Heidi's favorite trees in their yard was ripped out of the ground and could not be saved. They would love to honor her memory by planting a mature tree in its place. Planting a tree, taking care of it, being able to see it and watch it grow will give her family peace and comfort for generations to come.
i carry your heart with me
BY E. E. CUMMINGS
i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
