My name’s Carolina; the organic, non-GMO human behind The Trashy Lady.

That’s right. No AI, no robots, NO crypto bros. Just one sarcastic, mildly feral woman with a trash grabber and a dream.

Now, I wish I had some epic origin story to justify asking for your hard-earned dollars; a life-altering epiphany, a dramatic montage, maybe a raccoon sidekick!

But nope. No grand narrative here....

I’m just your average cat lady (SO MUCH HAIR ON MY CLOTHES)... with a rare and honestly disturbing talent: I actually ENOJOY picking up trash - no, not your ex, pumpkin, actual candy wrappers.

Of all the hobbies I’ve tried (painting, pottery, pretending I’ll go to the gym) this is the one that stuck. So here we are.

For 14 weeks straight, three days a week; I’ll be out on the streets of Montreal, cleaning up whatever unholy mess humanity has left behind: all in the name of raising money for the SPCA of Montreal.

Because while people are out here running marathons and cycling across provinces to raise money for good causes (go them), you know what those things don’t do?

Keep used Hershey’s wrappers out of the flowers you just planted.

Yeah. You’re welcome.

So why not help animals and the streets at the same time? It’s giving “two birds, one stone”, but what do I know, I'm just a girl ‍♀️

Moi c’est Carolina, l’humain 100 % bio derrière The Trashy Lady. Ben oui, pas d’IA, pas de robot, zéro crypto bro icit.

Juste une femme (ok, un ptit peu sauvage) armée d'une pince à déchets, pis un rêve.

J’aimerais ça vous sortir une histoire incroyable pour justifier vous demander vos précieux dollars… Une révélation spirituelle, un montage dramatique, peut-être un raton laveur acolyte !

Mais malheureusement non. Pas de grande épopée ici...

Je suis juste une crazy cat lady ordinaire (genre, y’a LITTÉRALEMENT des poils de chat sur tout ce que je possède), avec un talent rare et possiblement inquiétant : j’aime vraiment ramasser des déchets.

Non, pas ton ex, ma puce… genre, des emballages de bonbons.

En faite, oarmi tous les passe-temps que j’ai essayés (peinture, poterie, faire semblant que je vais aller au gym), c’est celui-là qui a 'stické'.

Fait que nous y voilà.

Pendant 14 semaines, trois jours par semaine, je vais parcourir les rues et parcs de Montréal pour ramasser tout ce que l’humanité a laissé traîner...

Tout ça, pour ramasser des fonds pour la SPCA de Montréal.

Parce que oui, pendant que certains courent des marathons ou traversent des provinces en vélo pour une bonne cause (bravo à eux), ben moi, j’empêche des emballages de Hershey d’atterrir dans vos fleurs fraîchement plantées.

C’est ça, mon super pouvoir.

Alors pourquoi pas aider les animaux et les rues en même temps ? Ça fait d’une pierre deux coups, non?
