On the night of January 31st, 2024, the world lost an amazing soul by the name of Amy Hardy. Her passing was both sudden, and unexpected, leaving the Hardy family in disbelief. Amy was funny, passionate, generous, loving, and a true follower of Christ. Amy was a strong member of her community. In previous years, she worked as a special education teaching assistant for the Clark County School District. She was passionate about living her life with purpose. She showed so much light and love to everyone who knew her. Although Amy was loved and supported by everyone who surrounded her, she struggled with thoughts and feelings most of us couldn't begin to comprehend, and was diagnosed with Bipolar Manic Depression. On that fateful night, Amy gave up her fight and took her own life.
As you can imagine, the Hardy family is absolutely devastated and in shock. The cost of after death arrangements are heavily weighing on them and we want to do as much as we possibly can to alleviate some of that pressure.
A few years before her passing, Amy shared her after death wishes with her son, Cameron. She wished to be cremated and have her ashes placed next to a body of water with her daughter Amanda's ashes, who also tragically passed away in 2009.
Fulfilling Amy's wishes would bring immense joy to the Hardy family. This fundraiser is our heartfelt attempt to give Amy the meaningful send-off she truly deserves. Your generosity in any form will be genuinely cherished.
