Hi, my name is Damian Torres and I’m trying to raise money to help assist my family with medical and household expenses. In 2021, my brother Alejandro was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer at the age of 23. Having never smoked and always being active and healthy, this was a shock to the entire family. At stage four, the cancer had already spread to his lower back and neck cracking some vertebrae. After multiple rounds of chemo and radiation, we were hopeful that Alejandro would finally go into remission. Unfortunately, at the end of December 2022 my brother found out the cancer has spread to his brain. He is now at the hospital, unable to walk, speak, or eat, along with other motor skills that are compromised. He is now receiving more radiation to help shrink the lesions on his brain. Unable to work during this difficult time, my father and his mother spend their days by their sons' hospital bed while they work on finding ways to save Alejandro from this disease. I’m asking for help to ease the burden this has placed on my family. Anything would be greatly appreciated and will go towards medical expenses, household bills, and food.
