Hello, my name Is Colin Taylor. I am starting this GoFundMe for Kal and Raj Toor and their two kids (Shaan and Rohan).

Raj has had some health challenges over the last while, but recent events have left the family in a challenging situation. Raj had what was supposed to be routine surgery 6 weeks ago, but her recovery did not go as expected. She has been in and out of the hospital and in her most recent admittance, she has ended up in the ICU in an induced coma, on dialysis. I'm happy to let you know that Raj is now out of the coma and it appears that her health is slowly improving.

I have gotten to know Kal and Raj well over the last 6 years and they have always extended their home (and kitchen) to me. Kal and Raj are always cooking up a storm, and their hospitable nature is never ending. At the many social events they put on over the years, they always make sure that when you leave, you leave with food. The friendship that has been built over the last 6 years with the Toor family means a great deal to me.

I know that when a family is faced with this type of challenge that life outside the hospital continues on. The house still needs to run, work still has to be completed, and the bills still keep coming in.

I am wanting to raise $7500.00 to help offset income lost because of time Kal and Raj have had to take off work, and to cover any delay in receiving benefits. Any donation is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small and every donation will go to the greater good of helping to keep the Toor household hold running in this time of extreme challenge and recovery.
