Hi, my name is Alex Vinci.
I’m a musician, producer, father of six, singer and guitarist of The Last Vinci, and founder of Narrow Door Records.
Two years ago, my life changed completely.
I was diagnosed with a chronic disease, something that forces you to look at your life honestly and ask hard questions about time, energy, and what truly matters. There’s no certainty with my health, and that reality changed the way I see everything.
At the same time, every decision I make is deeply connected to my wife and my six children. They are my world.
That diagnosis made one thing painfully clear:
If I don’t follow my purpose now, I may never get another chance.
So I made the hardest and bravest decision of my life:
I resigned from my full-time job after 14 years to commit fully to music.
Music has always been my calling and been my second job — writing, producing, collaborating, and helping other artists grow. This isn’t a hobby. It’s who I am at my core. And now, while I still have the strength and clarity to do it, I’m choosing to build the life I believe in.
Why I’m Asking for Support
This fundraiser supports two essential things that allow me to move forward:
1. New Album Promotion
I’m releasing a new album this spring with The Last Vinci.
It’s the most important project I’ve ever created, and I want to give it a real chance: proper promotion, visuals, PR, and vinyl pressing — so it can reach the people it’s meant for.
2. Studio Upgrade (The Narrow Studio)
My studio is at the heart of everything I do. Upgrading the equipment will:
Improve production quality
Allow me to support other artists
Help me work faster and more efficiently
Take Narrow Door Records to the next level
This isn’t about luxury gear, it’s about creating a sustainable creative future in a life where stability isn’t guaranteed.
