On the evening of May 13, 2025, the Thomas family, Keith along with his parents Robert & Sandra, lost their house to a fire. Keith also lost all his work supplies. Thankfully, they all made it out of the house alive along with their dog; unfortunately, they did lose 3 cats in this tragedy.

Keith was someone I looked up to; we hung out a lot. When I was about 17, I decided to join the Ottsville Fire Company. Keith was a member there and took me under his wing. He taught me so much over the 10+ years I was a member there with him. I got married and unfortunately moved away and have not seen him in several years. When I saw this, I felt I had to help. Keith helped save hundreds of people from accidents, fires, and numerous other emergencies over the years. Now it's our turn to repay a hero and help him and his parents get their lives back together.
