Hello all,

My name is Jasper Ian Jones. I'm a student at Ohio University. I'm making a GoFundMe for my upcoming short thesis film: "The Thick Of It." A coming of age short film akin to movies like Stand By Me, with an adventure inspired by Indiana Jones, and characters influenced by Tenacious D.

This film is dedicated to my friend who passed away on a hike when we were together. He was the best person to be around and just relax with, he was always there for me, and I right back at him. To express the joy he gave me and the smiles I would get out of him can't be described with words. That's why I wanted to make a film that feels like something we'd watch, and want to go do ourselves. I wanted to make a story about two friends living out the last of their youth before they have to inevitably say goodbye.
