Rick is out of suffering. He is with Jesus. We are sad. God is still good!
in the words of my dad, ” Jesus is on the run!”
August 14th
Last night, Karen got a call from Rick’s hospice nurse informing her that he’s in the final stages and could be tonight or a matter of days. With full transparency, this GoFundMe is changing from medical expenses to a celebration of life fund. Please share your favorite stories of Rick and donate if you are able.
Continue to pray for us Theisens ❤️
Hey Everyone! Today is Rick and Karen’s 15th wedding anniversary! Help me wish them a happy anniversary! Hard to believe they have been “Reunited” (and it feels so good) for this long ❤️

Abby here! Popping in to update you all on Rick’s state. He is having some good days and some very rough days. His good days are full of goofy remarks and silly faces and his rough days are full of tears, confusion and falling down, literally.
This disease is so nasty and so complicated as it changes so rapidly. Please help with the for-mentioned expenses if you can, there is still a great need.
Much Love,
The Theisen Tribe ❤️
Hi, my name is Abby Crabb. My dad, Rick Theisen, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s in 2018. Since his diagnosis, he has gone through the predicted and inevitable decline. He is currently in a memory care rehab facility that offers long term care. His doctors have suggested a palliative care and hospice care plan that would be executed in the same permanent residence memory care facility where his rehab has taken place the last few weeks.
This GoFundMe is set up to specifically cover the first month of care at the facility as well as the various legal fees that are adding up, as Karen (his loving wife) navigates setting up a permanent financial solution through Medicare.
