The Texas Cunninghams

Rex Cunningham has dedicated his life to ministering to others.  Now, he desperately needs us to minister to him.  On November 15th, 2019, Rex was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. His cancer also came with some complications, causing serious breathing difficulties and requiring lengthy hospital stays.  Their greatest need is prayer, specifically for healing, wisdom, strength, endurance and comfort. We know that God is The Great Physician and when Rex’s body is restored, we will give Him all the glory. 

In addition to our prayers, Rex and Susan are in need of financial blessings to help pay for Rex’s hospital stays, medical supplies and cancer treatments. They don’t have traditional medical insurance; they have a healthcare sharing plan.  Their plan will reimburse them for 90%, up to a certain amount, of covered medical expenses; however, they must pay for everything up front and will still be responsible for the rest.  Those who have had major medical expenses know that even 10% can be a huge amount.  Rex has also used all of his sick leave and vacation time and is currently unable to work.  Hopefully in the near future, he may be able to do some work from home, but we don’t know when he will be able to go back to work full time.  He will also have to go without pay when he has to miss work for his treatments.
