Mike’s Hospital Expenses
It’s hard for us to put this out there and ask for help. We don’t know if our dad will make it. We however, know that a community helps strengthen. We know that by asking you to share any prayers and financial help will also, make an impact.
Our father, Ishmael Teves, also known as Mike, was admitted to the ICU at St. Luke's Hospital in Quezon City, PI on Friday, August 14th. He is being intubated and on a ventilator, fighting a brutal battle against pneumonia and covid.
The doctors have attempted multiple rounds of dialysis but Mike continues to undergo kidney failure. Some days his heart patterns are irregular, other days he shows responsiveness through blinking and hand movement. Though his organs are not improving, we know he can hear us, and most importantly, feel the love our family and friends are extending to him.
Our father was one of the most genuine people. Everyday he made it a habit to have to help someone as part of his daily routine. He regularly reached out to others to spread his faith. He taught everyone to love God with their mind and soul. He knew that life would not always be rosy but that you shall always feel blessed. His love towards his family and friends was so humbling to learn from.
Any contributions to help our father's medical bills so we can continue to seek the treatment the doctors recommend would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support as we collectively decide on the best possible plan of action for our dad going forward. What you believe is what will become ~ and we just want to watch him breathe on his own; and connect again with us again.
His daughters, Tracy, Michelle and Carrie.
