The Teaneck High School Fencing Team

Hi everyone! My name is Kamali Thompson and my brother is Khalil Thompson. We have had the honor of representing team USA on the U.S fencing team for many years. In honor of Bergen County's Dr. Kamali Thompson Day (Aug 18th) and Khalil Thompson Day (Aug 19th) we are hosting a fundraiser for the high school team that forever changed our lives.

The Teaneck High School fencing team has always been an underdog team. With no fencing club nearby, many of the students, myself included, pick up a fencing weapon for the first time as freshmen in high school. Despite a perceived disadvantage of starting fencing at a later age, the Teaneck High School girl team has sent a fencing squad and/or individual fencer to state championships every year since 2005!!!!!!

Our goal is to raise $2,500 for this season to help the students get warm-ups, fencing equipment and provide food for the athletes during their competitions. Check out what your contributions can assist with:
