After discovering a corpse outside the isolated Castle Red, the dishonorable Red Knight is forced to face his past and the mysterious visitors that return from it.

Our goal for this project is a meditation on choice, legacy, and reckoning who you really are with the legend you leave behind.

Hello! We are Cooper and Cheyenne and we are eager to raise funds for our senior thesis short film, The Tale of the Red Knight’s Castle! We have put together a crew of very talented students and individuals who are all passionate about seeing this film come to life. We are grateful for the opportunity our university has provided us to create this short film, and we are raising money to ensure that our spectacular crew can work at their fullest potential.

There is a lot of enthusiasm and love going into this complex project, and we need your help! We will be building an entire custom medieval castle on our school’s soundstage, as well as adorning our cast in quality costumes and decorating our knights with the finest swords. We will be drawing inspiration from multiple medieval-era and middle age cultures and practices in order to build a fantasy world that does not seem too different from real middle age history. And whilst this is a fantasy as opposed to a period piece, we aim for authenticity, harsh realism, and accuracy.

Our principle production dates are in late January, and our goal for a completed film is by early May. For those who donate, we'll send the livestream link to our school's screening!
