Hi Everyone, this is Goliath, AKA Puppy. He’s 8. He is the sweetest, sassiest, silliest baby. We think he is a Corgi-Pomeranian mix. We got him as a puppy someone was giving away.

A week ago today, he suddenly started crying and yelping in pain. When we brought him to the vet, she suspected a ruptured disc, grade 1. A few days later, we brought him to the neurologist. She also suspects IVDD (ruptured disc) in his neck. The only way to be 100% sure of what is going on and how to treat it, he needs an MRI under anesthesia and probably surgery. The MRI, surgery, and aftercare will be upwards of 20k. Right now, we have him on cage rest and medication.

Not being able to do everything we can for him is heartbreaking.

If you know us, you know how much this baby means to us. We canceled a family trip just to stay home and take care of him.

Neither Shawn nor I ask people for money… But we need to put our pride to the side. We just want him to get better and not be in pain. We want to give him any chance that we have.

We have used most of our CareCredit and funds to get us to this point.
