We are reaching out to everyone who has been blessed with knowing the Sweeney family and especially Emmary’s beautiful smile and kind & gentle soul.

Over the past year and a half, doctors have been closely monitoring Emmary’s heart and it appeared things were moving in the right direction. Unfortunately Emmary was rushed to the hospital on Dec 17th and has since undergone 2 heart surgeries. Kevin and Julie have remained at Emmary’s side in the hospital so she is never alone.

After 7 weeks in ICU, Emmary has finally progressed to the step-down unit which is a great step in the right direction! She is scheduled to have hand surgery on 2/13 to address an issue that occurred during her first cardiac event with the IV. Next up, a rehab facility to recover her physical strength.

The Sweeney family will need as much support as possible and we want to ensure Kevin and Julie can focus solely on Emmary’s health and road to recovery. With Kevin and/or Julie always at Emmary’s side, we are hoping that any and all financial support we can provide during this time will help alleviate some of the stress, and provide comfort and help when they need it the most.

All thoughts and prayers for Emmary and the Sweeney family during Emmary’s long journey ahead are APPRECIATED and please continue to cheer loud for her full recovery.
