Over the next 18 months I’ll be running the Superhalfs Series, which includes six half marathons across Europe.
I ran my first race in Prague back in April and had been training for Cardiff on October 5. Unfortunately I had to withdraw just before due to a peroneal tendon injury that I’m still recovering from. Now I’m preparing to run the Valencia Half Marathon on October 27.
What was once going to be my personal best race has shifted. With my tendon still healing this run is no longer about time. It’s about resilience, purpose and the reason I keep moving. I’m running to raise money for The Samaritans, a charity incredibly close to my heart.
The Samaritans answer a call for help every 10 seconds—24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They offer a lifeline to anyone struggling with isolation, anxiety or despair, providing vital support when it’s needed most.
By supporting me on this journey you’re also supporting their life-saving work. Every donation helps fund their services and ensures they can continue to be there for anyone who needs them, no matter the time or day.
I run to remind myself and others that no matter how dark it feels we can keep moving forward. One step at a time.
