The Sunshine Coast University Hospital Oncology Patients

As some of you may know, after spending most of 2024 in and out of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) for cancer treatment (which is now in remission), I realised there is a huge need for fridges for long-term patients and those having palliative care.

With the help of our CEO, Mark Stitt, we were able to organise four (4) small bar fridges, which have been appreciatively accepted.

Something as simple as a small bar fridge for food and drinks makes a world of difference to patients, and sadly, not all rooms have the benefit of having one to use.

We aim to raise enough money to purchase another six (6) bar fridges. Our goal is to raise $1,200 to achieve this.

Please help with any small amount you can afford, the patients and staff will be forever grateful.
