Sumskis Family Loss After House Fire

Hi, my name is Allie Brietkrenz and I’m asking for your help in assisting the Sumskis Family who suffered the tremendous loss of their home to an unexpected fire last night. Some small, things were able to be salvaged, but clothing and any personal necessities were a loss for all. For those that may not know the Sumskis Family, they are a family of 6. Mom Lindsy, Dad Joe, Zoe-17, Lukas-14, Braydon-11 and Jackson-7. Lindsy is a Paraprofessional in Kindergarten at Black River Elementary. Know as “Ms. Lindsy” she is held near and dear to many of the children’s hearts here in the community. On top of Lindsy being my friend and coworker, her daughter Zoe holds a very special place in my heart, as well as my little girl Amy’s too. If you ask her, “Zoe’s her best friend and her best and favorite babysitter”! This horrible fire took place just hours after the family came together to celebrate Zoe’s high school graduation from Black River. Zoe has plans to study Phlebotomy after the summer. The family is forever thankful that they and their pets were all able to make it out of the fire safely. This loss is tragic and they are trying to figure out the pieces to this complicated puzzle they now face for the next few months.
