The sudden passing of Fay Thomas my loved mom

Oh k, my name is Matt Thomas. I've never really known anyone that's done this. I don't know much about it myself, But I don't know where to turn. This morning my mom woke my wife and I at two thirty in the morning with chest pains. We live too far away from town for an ambulance to come. So I began to take her to the hospital and made arrangements for a life squad to meet us on the way. Things appeared to be going well. The ambulance met is and when we continued to the hospital while I followed the squad. They ran a stop sign, and given that it was two thirty in the morning and the middle of nowhere, I rolled the stop sign. Apparently, that gave the Ems driver The feeling that he had the right to pull over ,Park The squad ,get out ,and come back to proceed to tell me how hes going to call police for me running a stop sign. To which I replied that he needed to get back in the vehicle and get my mom to a hospital. I will run any stop sign, any stop light, I would break any law, if it meant I could save my mom.

Well, we got to the hospital. It took about 5 minutes for everything to get set up for her. Which if she had been there sooner and not Been stopped by a Ems driver on a power trip. She would have gotten there soon enough to get a doctor right away, and she might still be here. Instead, she had passed before I get in the room.

That was one of the most heartbreaking times I've dealt with so I thought. However, I had to experience a second one when I got home and found out. That the Insurance policy? My mom thought she was paying for years was actually a scam. She thought she was paying a $50000 policy for the last 30 years.

But in reality, they lied to her. And it was only a $500 policy. But they kept her money this whole time.

Now my mother's gone ,my father's gone,and I don't have the funds or ability to give her the send off that she deserves.

This was so unexpected. we had all gone grocery shopping 3 days ago. Everyone was happy, but now everyone was broke. Because we all want the grocery store, And well Everyone knows how much that costs anymore. So I'm trying to raise money for my mom so I can give her the burial she deserves.

I hate asking for help but I don't have a choice. I know I need it. I've been a sheet metal worker for over 15 years. I go to work every day, do my best, But after 15 years, my health isn't the greatest anymore either,

But I do my best everyday So if nothing else I at least make my family proud. My wife is a nurse. She goes to work every day to do her best to care for everyone else. But after we paid our bills this sudden Heartbreak Happens of course, while we had no money left after helping each other start to prepare for cold weather to start.

It's times like this I Wish I wasn't an only child , But my parents gave me the best childhood and life They could, I just want to be there for them, and I am trying to uphold the promise I made to my mom that I would do anything to be able to take care of This house that they built themselves and the pets they raised Like children. Unfortunately, I don't have a chance at being able to do that. When I can't even afford the funeral ceremony because of these circumstances.

Please, please, if there's anyone that can help. I'm not asking anyone to put themselves out, but if there's anything you can spare.

Please, it is so appreciated. The service date can even be set yet because we can't afford any of this.
