Hello Friends:
It's hard to believe that it's been almost a year since we lost our dear friend Stuart to cancer.
Stuart was a larger-than-life personality who enjoyed many great accomplishments and displayed leadership as a very young man. Among those accomplishments, Stuart is fondly remembered as the student body president of the Quincy High School-Class of 1988. He was the class president for all four years of high school!
To honor his memory, Stuart's high school classmates have created The Stuart Slicis "City of Presidents" Scholarship. The group is led by Stuart's life-long friend Tracey (Thornhill) Doherty. This scholarship will be donated to college-bound Quincy High School senior class presidents - a way for Stuart to help future leaders from our school. Our goal is to donate $1000 each year to the QHS senior class President.
