Hello and thank you for taking a moment to hear me out. My name is Tyler Laury, and I'm a 35-years-lived, plain-old ginger fellow who struggles with a decent-sized bucket of issues going on in my headspace, chief among them being some mighty ADHD-C (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder - Combined Type, i.e. Hyperactive and Inattentive). I'll say up front that I've been here before and managed to squeak through a bad time thanks to the kindness of strangers. I didn't give a sob story back then and I won't give one now to try and sway the hearts and minds of good-spirited folks willing to lend a hand to a man struggling to get by again like so many others who similarly reach out for help. After a recent run of misfortune, times have gotten hard enough to handle once more that I return here, hat in hand, to ask for help from anyone kind enough to spare some hope and aid. Like everyone else, I have bills to pay and a mouth to feed, and doing what I can for work has slowly and steadily proven to not be enough over time.

I live in a small apartment because I really don't need much aside from food, shelter, a computer, and an internet connection (I wouldn't even bother with a cell phone if that wasn't a requirement in the times we live in). I'll keep the fundraiser initial goal realistic based on what's more immediately needed, but keep it up and adjusted for as long as possible for anyone and everyone willing to toss even so much as a dollar my way. Every dollar helps, because even one is more than I had before, and as it goes, if a thousand people each give just a dollar, that's still a thousand dollars.

My immediate needs are pretty modest by comparison to those who have far greater struggles, and I won't pretend they aren't. I don't have a tragic six-figure medical bill to pay or anything like that, all I need is to get by. Rent, necessary utilities, food, basically just that, and it's a woeful state of affairs that folks ever have to have assistance with these most basic of things, but such is the way of things as it stands right now. Unfortunately, I have nothing to offer aside from my eternal gratitude for your kindness and well wishes in return, that and an endless fascination with video games and tabletop games combined with the ability to talk for hours on end about whatever catches my interest if someone wants to chat in the comments.

As before, my needs are simple, and what that shakes out to is what follows:

Living Expenses: As of 04/01/2026, rent runs me $1,615.00/month (for the next 15 months) and that's not including electricity (varies, usually around $150.00, somehow, sometimes more than that, somehow), trash ($11.95/month), and water (varies, usually around $30.00 or so).

Cell Phone: Paid annually, my cell phone bill runs me just north of $200.00 for a simple plan, and I don't plan on getting a new phone until the one I have dies.

Groceries: The benefits of SNAP afford me $298.00/month for food, which is decent for one fellow like me.
