The struggle, reunion, and passing of Christina Keele

My name is Isaiah Creveling. I am the middle child of Christina Keele and Tom Creveling. I am seeking to raise funds for my mom's funeral expenses and to help secure financial relief for myself, my siblings, my mom's sister, and stepdaughter, as she would have wanted.
My mom was a radiant spirit who performed small acts of kindness whenever possible. While no one is without flaws, my mom never stopped caring about her kids and those close to her. Despite her battle with breast cancer, addiction, homelessness, the passing of her husband, and a barrage of tribulations that seemed to appear at every stage of her life, you would never know it by having a conversation with her. She was always looking at the bright side. I believe the love in her heart gave her the strength to keep fighting. This is made clear when I heard the many beautiful words shared by those who have spent any amount of time in her life.
Many things on her to-do list were left unchecked, but I am comforted in knowing that one of the biggest goals of getting to see her kids for the last time was fulfilled. She moved in with me on the 27th of May 2025 and passed away on the 5th of June. Had I known the severity of what she was going through, I would have done more to prevent this.
She wanted her children to be as proud of her as she was of them, and never wanted to hurt us by being witness to the pain she was in. At the end of the day, I want to uplift the positive aspects of her life rather than being consumed by the tragedy of her passing. I know she is no longer in pain, and she saw that despite her flaws, her children never stopped loving her. We recognized the strength she demonstrated in her struggle to be reunited.
Her service and memorial will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 3:30 pm in Pasadena Park, 8822 East Upriver Drive, Spokane Valley, Washington 99212, officiated by Pastor Mark Van Bieber of the Church of Nazarene.
