The Strong Family Memorial Fund

This memorial fund is meant to raise money to support the Strong family after the sudden and devastating loss of their husband and father who died in an industrial accident on August 10, 2023. He leaves behind his wife of 10 years, Ellie, and their three sons, Ryder (7), Ronin (6), and Callum (1).

Blade, a former US Marine, was a hard-working and loving man who dedicated himself to serving his family wholeheartedly. He was intelligent, curious, and intentional in his relationships. Those who knew him appreciated his quick wit and the humor he carried with him. This loss leaves a profound hole. He is deeply missed.

My husband and I have had the privilege of walking alongside the Strong family in friendship for a decade, and they are very dear to us. We met shortly after Blade and Ellie married, and we have shared the trials and triumphs of life since. We are shocked and heartbroken, and our hearts ache for Ellie and their boys.

In the wake of this tragedy, his family is left with the daunting task of adjusting to the unexpected and sudden loss of income. Ellie will use the funds raised for funeral costs and basic necessities in caring for their three sons. We can provide so little comfort to their broken hearts, but we can minister to them by providing for their material needs during this time of loss and grief.
